Aqua Aerobics, or water aerobics as it is commonly referred to, is a very popular form of low impact non-weight bearing exercise. Classes are suitable for beginners, those in rehabilitation and the everyday fitness enthusiast.
Aqua aerobics supports the body and reduces the risk of muscle or joint injury. Since the buoyancy of water supports 90 percent of the body, practically anyone can do aqua aerobics, regardless of factors like fitness levels, weight, age, and health conditions.
